In Bangkok, a video of a car littered with rubbish and swarming with cockroaches shocked and disgusted social media users. The video, posted on TikTok by user @hotwave_ploy, quickly went viral and sparked heated discussions.
The author of the video said that he made the gruesome discovery after parking his car in a car park on Saturday. Noticing the strange appearance of the car next to him, he took a closer look and was horrified to see hordes of cockroaches swarming among the rubbish. Unable to contain his disgust, he filmed what he saw.
The video quickly spread across the internet. Many users expressed doubts about its authenticity, suggesting that it could be digitally edited. Others joked grimly that the owner might already be dead inside the car.
Most viewers were simply shocked by what they saw. The author of the video reported that when he returned to the car park later that day, the gruesome car was no longer there. The owner had probably driven it away.
In a subsequent video, the author admitted that what he saw shocked him so much that he simply couldn’t help but film it. ‘There were so many cockroaches, I can’t imagine how anyone could drive that car,’ he said.
The incident raised public concerns about sanitation and safety. Internet users called on the authorities to take measures to prevent similar situations.
