Pattaya City has completed Bali Hai Pier’s initial renovation phase.
The city intends to add a roof walkway to provide shade and rain protection to Koh Larn inhabitants and visitors to the pier.
The roof walkway project, which began on July 6 and spans 200 meters, will be finished by August 2024. The roof, which will feature a wave-like pattern to harmonize with the area’s marine theme, will be constructed from galvanized steel at an affordable price.
The installation will involve securely fastening plates to support beams, ensuring that the weight is evenly distributed and improving safety measures.
The project’s Deputy Mayor, Manot Nongyai, stressed the importance of safety and reliability in all aspects of the planning process.
This plan aims to ensure that the pier’s preservation and function meet the standards of both locals and visitors.
