Last night, Pattaya Police carried out safety checks and drug tests at popular nightlife locations frequented by tourists.
On January 3rd at 11:36 PM, Pattaya Police collaborated with Tourist Police Division 4 and Chonburi Immigration officers to conduct inspections of nightlife venues in Pattaya.
The operation adhered to the “Five Safety Policy,” which consists of 1) protecting public safety, 2) maintaining a drug-free environment, 3) ensuring a weapon-free zone, 4) preventing human trafficking, and 5) enforcing regulations against illegal foreign visitors.
The officers initially examined World House, a favored spot for foreign tourists on Third Road. Inside, they discovered only a handful of patrons and carried out identification checks along with drug testing. No illegal activities or violations were detected. They then proceeded to Space Club, which was bustling with customers. Authorities promptly instructed them to turn on the lights, cease the music, and separate male and female guests. They conducted identification checks and performed random drug tests again. Once more, no illegal substances or breaches were found.
