On January 29, 2025, at 11:30 PM, the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Center received a report of a motorcycle accident on Jomtien 2nd Road in Pattaya. In response to the alert, rescue workers, along with police and reporters from The Pattaya News, quickly arrived at the scene. They found a damaged and overturned KTM 1200cc motorcycle. The first injured person was the motorcycle rider, Mr. Artem, 26 years old, whose nationality is unknown. The second victim, a pedestrian later identified as Ms. Zhanna, 44 years old, is a Russian national.

Emergency responders administered first aid before transporting Ms. Zhanna to the hospital. The third person involved was her husband. They had been crossing the street together when a motorbike hit them. Rescue workers performed CPR on the unidentified man, but he sadly died from his injuries shortly afterward. Mr. Arkhadech, a 34-year-old eyewitness, told The Pattaya News that he had stopped his car to let the couple cross the road. Just then, he heard a motorcycle, ridden by Mr. Artem, speeding up from behind and crashing into the couple, sending them flying in opposite directions. All three individuals suffered serious injuries. Following the incident, he quickly called the authorities for assistance.
